Does anyone know where I can by leg bands to put on my chicks/chickens? I want them so that I can keep track of who came from who or who came from what colored egg.

I didn't respond earlier 'cause I got behind & was sure it had probably been answered already.

Some folks use zip ties of different colors. I'm wondering if colored pipe cleaners would also work.  Either way, you'd need to monitor them to keep them from getting too snug as the legs grow.

I've seen two posts from Sally now answering that question.

I know, and I miss it!

My daughter celebrated Chinese New Year in Thailand the year before last. She spent 3 months in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Viet Nam.
She got so fed up with 6 hour bus rides turning into 10 hour bus rides that she bought a motorcycle when she got to Viet Nam for her travel from Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi. She started at Phú Quốc island and ended up at Ha Long Bay before heading back to Thailand.

I'm taking her to the airport at 4 AM tomorrow morning for a 6 AM flight. She's backpacking through Costa Rica for a month.
I asked her if she could take a suitcase big enough to squeeze me into.
I took a 3 week hiking trip to Vietnam and Cambodia with my brother and sister in law about 5 (?) years ago. Included time in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, and lots of hiking in the northwest mountains, Siem Reap and the temples, and finished with a biking and boating trip through rural Mekong Delta. One of the most AMAZING trips I have ever taken. Didn't go to Thailand, but as I was there when those folks took over the airport in Bangkok, I ended up very glad we went through Seoul...

Here are some chickens I saw in the rural areas in the mountains (and a few other photos):

This is a chicken harvest (they were feeding the folks who were helping build their house). Dispatch on the right, cleaning not eh left. Pigs and ducks looking on:

Baby pigs and a momma hen and her babies cleaning up scraps after the chicken harvest:

Angkor Wat at sunrise (not a chicken, but pretty):

I'm from Atlanta. Anything with carbonation is a coke. As in

"What you want to drink, honey?"
"A coke"
"What kind?"
"Sprite."

Soda is for baking and deodorizing sneakers. Pop is what you do to balloons.
I love that.

What's the number for 911?

Quote:
Can anyone help me.how do u tell the difference between Silkies,Turken, and serama EGGS
Silkie eggs will be bigger than Serama, Turkens will be bigger than Silkies.
The Turkens will be creamy light brown and from medium to extra large.
Silkie eggs are tiny and tinted.
Serama eggs are quail egg size about 20 grams and white.

Normal, small, and smallest.

You can use a combination of colors on alternating legs to make more choices.

Why is it so hard to find Silver Partridge Silkie eggs? Is it unbelievably rare and I don't know it?

Extremely rare I'd say.
