Hi all! I have been lurking around here for a few days now. As soon as I saw that Sally made this thread, I had to check it out. I've been gone for a while due to a split with my now X fiance. I had been living out on the farm for a while, had a gorgeous flock of chickens that I loved

. I found great homes for my birds, and have been living in the city for the past few months. Everytime I cruise my local swap page on FB, or hop on here for a minute, I miss my chickens even more! Crazy ain't it? To miss some chickens

So the other day, I saw someone post silkie eggs for sale on my local swap page, I started thinking

I still have my incubator! I also have various chicken supplies to trade

! So now, I am sitting in my little studio apartment (which surprisingly I love!) with my trusty HovaBator, and 18 silkie eggs on day 2. I have been adjusting this incubator more than I remember having to do last season, I am kind of worried about the wafer. I just put an order in for one from the Incubator warehouse, I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one holds on until the new one arrives

I would also like to know how to change your user name! I think I want to be called Studio Chick!

ETA I am going back to page 174 now, is there a way to mark your spot in a thread?

Oh yes! As I was looking at the calendar and counting different sets of 21 days and coordinating when our chicks would hatch and when chicks we ordered would get here, I could hear my mom muttering in the background: "She's got chickens on the brain..."
