Picture edited on my phone. I think this was about day 5 we have 2 more developing right now :)

My update:
- 104 chicks total hatched last weekend. Put 101 eggs into lockdown for this weekend.
- changed out one heating element in the newly built cabinet incubator (trying a PTC heater for improved safety)
- ordered a new Dickey incubator for a hatcher
gotcha! Good luck!!

New update: The Muscovy that was pipped died. Here's the eggtopsy. It was filled with yellow sticky liquid. That means that the humidity was too high doesn't it? I can't remember if that means too high or too low. I'm not a happy camper right now. None of the others show movement.
thank you for doing the eggtopsys,

humidity was too high. here is a read for you... also wondering do you do a cooling spraying on them during incubation?

CHICKS Wet? Sticky? Stuck? Yellow Gel? What did I do Wrong? post #25379

@Sally Sunshine and others are more qualified to answer this, but I think that too high humidity could be the cause. What humidity were they at?

Bought more hay for the run today, picked up grow pots and a small grow box for starting the garlic, onions, and salad greens.

Finalizing my coop plan, I'm going to do a modified hoop coop with a wood frame inside to help with stability.
