Anyone have any luck buying quail eggs to hatch? If so, where should I be looking? I am hoping to find some for the Easter hatch. I see some on Ebay and Craigs list, but there is also Strombergs and McMurray, any recommendations. We live in Washington State, so I worry about the transit across the country.

@LocalYokel might could give you some names. He raises quail, but he's in FL

Thats a good question. HAHA. Cant remember when I started collecting the other breeding pens. Know for sure Wheaten Ameraucanas and BCMs. Probably Barred Rocks, Buff Brahmas, Heritage Reds and Sex links. LOL

I just ordered eggs EE, Sapphire, cream leg bar, and Swedish flower hen. Ouch was that expensive.
Still debating whether I need to sell my current birds with there ms to some backyard people and start fresh or not with the babies in the house, on the way, and in the Bator. I am not sure since so many have it and it can come right back if it is worth it, but all my new ones will be exposed if I don't.

That is the issue most places don't test even a lot npip people don't know if they are or are not. I just hate the thought of exposing others by sale or incoming chicks to me.
