Just finished my day 14 candling. The 2 "suspect" eggs from day 10 are early quitters and removed. Still have 23 eggs going strong. The 320 Lumens is strong enough to see chicks and movement in the dark shells - I cannot see blood vessels in some of the darkest shells, but I can still see the development and movement. Lockdown on Wednesday
Great

Quick question:

I had one suspect egg when I candled that I couldn't tell if there was the start of a blood ring or veins. Will it be OK (if it is a dud) sitting in the bator until day 14? Or is there a chance of it exploding?

I have never used it before. Though ive never incubated. But from what peopke have reccomended to me was the hovabator genesis. Its inexpensive and ive heard works well. I dont know about MagicFly, looks a little cheap and doesnt seem like it would work well, but then again i dont know anything about it.
EDIT: I did some digging and found this: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/958088/magicfly-incubators
Didnt read through it but that might be a place to start.

Thank you very much for your answer.

Sweet!

Try two flashlights, even if the other is less powerful.
