I didn't even have time to go to Mardi Gras yesterday.

I did make it to our meetup group's chicken book swap at Paul's Coffee House. My coop fairy got out of the hospital an hour before and all was going well when she seized, hitting the floor like a bowling pin. Ambulance came and took her back. I had to go feed her dog, parrots and take the dog out for bathroom duties and a walk. It's a huge border collie used to run geese.
So I got about zero done on my to do list yesterday.

But this valentine's day is the start of the second half of The Walking Dead season.

For those unfamiliar and have AMC on their TV access, the premier episode of the first season (followed by all the other episodes) starts in 10 minutes. 9AM eastern, 10 central.

What should i do to keep them from getting bored? And is there anything i can interact witg them doing so they wont get bored, or are so they only play with other quail? (Its okay if you cant answer these

)

Well, this will be a first for me the roof as I always use comp shingles. But I used 12" smart lap as I have a whole pallet of it. There is enough grade and overlapped the seams 1.5" with a bead of gutter sealant in between. We will see how this does. I'm sure it will be fine for a coop and not leak.

The chick, remember the silkie chick that I thought we had an accident on or a rogue gene a few months ago? Yep that's it. Looks like an accident, Silkie/Cochin cross.

"Lazarus", the Biel I saved from cracked shell, then goop, then the others, is not super good at walking. She stumbles and sits...it's like she doesn't have the strength to stand very long. She's not spraddle, maybe pigeon toed, at best...
