I enjoy tea sometimes, but when I wake up this early coffee is a must.

I have chicks this morning. 2 hatched overnight, I'll snap some pics when I transfer them to the brooder later.

See? I need more coffee!
When I ask for coffee, I ask for "kawfee" which sounds like "fluffy" and I am given an Icee.
Hot tea sounds like "toddy" and other than Nevada and Montana, most people get ticked when you ask for alcohol in the morning.
Which begs the question, why is ordering "tea" taken as iced tea, but coffee is automatically hot when the restaurant even sells iced coffee? Like Starbucks!

I like the way you think. My dad is from Pittsburgh so we understand "kawfee" and pop at our house, but most people look at us strange if we try ordering pop in a restaurant. "Coke" turns into Coke or Pepsi. They might bring us popcorn if we asked for pop.
So, my SIL set 50 eggs yesterday. I'm jealous. My 15 eggs are happy. I think. I'm still fiddling with the temperature a little. I'm only opening the bator once a day and today's ration is done. Hens get off the nest so I wanted to mimic that and add some water. I can't wait til the 10th!
@sallysunshine The turner works well. We'll see how my hatch rate goes.

Temp holdin beautifully at 101, depending on time of day it might briefly read 102 or 100 but it goes back quite fast without me doing anything. Never over 102, never under 100.

I'm about to go mug my parents I know they have coffee.
Valentines day has so much commercialization to it anymore it just sucks. People should be loving and kind to each other EVERYDAY. You are definitely not alone
