Ugh, I feel like I know when I'm supposed to assist but I just keep hoping they will come out on their own! I don't like assisting! And then I nervous that maybe I'm jumping the gun, so I want someone else to tell me that "yes you're correct" or "No, don't do that!" This is my second hatch, I believe I had to assist 2 for the same reason on my first hatch, but I didn't know the reason they were like that. I am glad I found out! I am writing up a thread about this hatch, it's kind of fun

I know exactly what you're saying. I felt a lot more confident after studying the assist guide and knowing what to look for. I would probably pick at anything older than a day or so, but if they are swollen from too high humidity they might not be able to try and zip.

Ummmm....it's pipped?? I can't see that side of the interior very well because the viewing window is on the opposite side, and I built a lego wall down the middle

I have 4 more pipped as far as I can tell, they have been pipped since this morning. so almost 12 hours? No zipping yet.

I know the bigger ducks were not an issues to vent, but everytime I hatched silkies ducks I gave up, cause I think I was seein things that werent there
