The alternator won't alternate, the generator won't generate, the radiator won't radiate, and the pistons.....well, they don't work so good, either

LOL, my dad wouldnt let me drive until I worked for a few years on cars with him.... I know not common, but it is what he did. I have changed a radiator... the cylanoid belt and so much more.. but the fly wheel is connected to the tranny... which means I might have to take it in.

Need some advice.
We (My parents) have a commercial cooler that went out last year and they were going to just sell it for scrap metal but haven't yet. Question is how hard would it be to turn it into a incubator?
