auto is the way to go when in hot areas like me, the guys and gals need water, we have 2 horses on auto fill, the thing is how to make the birds water built for that way, good lord my head hurts from thinking,What's not to like? I built it!!!Just kidding... thanks alot, whites!!!![]()
Wow... that's dragon! It's 16'W x 8'D x 4'H. If I had it to do over, I'd have made it 6' tall instead of 4'. I used 8' treated 2x4's and ripped them in half to save some coin...

Two options... 1) do as Kathy recommended and set it back in the shell in an upright position. 2) Use sterile scissors to cut the cord about halfway and pat it down with cornstarch to stop any bleeding. It'll need to be isolated from any other chicks to keep them from pecking at it.
I didn't/haven't run water to the coops. Those are just filler tubes running to the outside of the wire for easier filling. Auto-filling is definitely an option for the near future...![]()
