Oh, it is. My son owes me money he'll never be able to repay, so his wife came up with the idea a few years ago of putting my wife & I on their Verizon plan, but they can't handle the monthly freight for smart phones for us.

Sticky is too low humidity during incubation, I believe... and shrinkwrappingis not instantaneous... plus the air cell holds its own little pocket of humid air in it until the shell is breached... as long as you don't leave the egg outside the bator for too long... I candle within a min, tops...

I thought sticky chick was caused by too much moisture during incubation so that when they pip they have too much goo left in the egg and it glues them in. Was I wrong?

An old-timer once told me that he'd always heard that sharp pointed eggs were rooster eggs, and the rounder eggs were hen eggs. I told him to give me all hen eggs. We'll see how right he was in another 11 days...

the neighbors California white lays 100% super pointy eggs. Every time. My production red lays 100% super round eggs every time. To be honest I think it was nothing to do with check gender and everything to do with chicken ovaries
