Going to your safe zone is no fun. Hoping everyone is okay and stays safe in NC!!!   :fl

Made it through that one fine. That was supposed to be the last line of storms for the night so hopefully it will calm down a bit for the rest of the night.

Just opened my box of eBay eggs. Seemed to be packed decent. No breaks, 1 extra for a total of 12. Air cells seem fairly large as compared to mine( some of which are almost a week old now). And 8 of 12 are rolling(no saddle shape). Gonna let them set and see if they reattach.

O ok I have 14 of my flocks eggs in the incubator today is day 8 and they are starting to form and they are mixed with my EE rooster and americauna hen that is also mixed with barred rock salmon faverole and silver penciled rock

@Ur-ur-ur-urrr I am going to cross the Rees and greenfire line ccl over my non heritage Rhode Island Reds to make pretty Easter Eggers. It makes beautiful blues and blacks.
And the ccl over Leghorn for Sapphires
Ah... got it. Did you get your Reese eggs from cmom? If so, did they arrive in good condition? I like the way she packs them. And if they are from cmom, I'm anxious to see how the hatch out and what they look like.

Ok, good. Is this a normal navel? I never paid attention before.

400

And here we go into the closet for our third tornado warning of the night. Unfortunately this part of North carolina doesn't have very many basements.

Stay safe! Tornadoes are no joke!

well, I'm glad it was not worse, and you are doing better.

Surgery, I presume? Hope you get back on your feet real soon.

Thanks everyone! Yes I had surgery. Surgeon was actually an old friend of mine, which was nice. He told me afterwards it was "nice and ripe, but not ruptured" haha. It was laproscopic so 100X better than my cesarean. But still uncomfortable. Had to sacrifice the three eggs that I couldn't fit in my brinsea, since the uglybator went defunk and I left for hospital. Bummer, but I still have 9. Yay. I will get more in time for the Easter HAL hopefully! :)

Glad you made it through without incident! We had a late cell sneak up on us last night after we thought we were in the clear, and it was the worst of the entire storm. Hope that doesn't happen to you!

8 of 12 are rollers? Wow. Hopefully they'll reattach. How were they wrapped? If there were a lot of newspapers, and especially if wrapped in newspaper, it tends to wick the moisture out of the eggs. I hope they're not old eggs...

Incutherm Plus came in today.
Haven't messed with it yet; have to enlarge a vent for the probe to fit.
