Well I updated my Olive Egger thread, but thought I'd throw the pictures up on this thread too. I love my little rumpless chickies! They are so friendly and sweet!

all 6! My favorite would not stay for a picture! haha. She is dark grey tailless. you can see the tip of her head at the very end of the line up. lol

@Sally Sunshine I can't sleep and just candled my eggs... What can I say? I'm at day 16.9999. About 1/4 of the eggs' AC haven't budged since Monday. Temps are a steady 100 and humidity has been finally stabilized at 38%. All babies are still kickin'! This is an important hatch- I am basically a surrogate for new best Crazy Chicken Lady friend, @Jessimom, and her Remaining Buff Brahma eggs. She has had such a disaster with her "DeathBator"! When I set these, I don't think either of us planned on her hatches she had going (that filled her bators) would turn out so sad. I really want these 6 to make it, along with our 12 silkies left! She needs chicks!!!

LOL Shellee!!! Ok I have 9 BBs AND 4 silkies remaining. The LG - I took out all eggs, took out the turner. STERILIZED EVERYTHING!!! Put in shelf liner and added the 13 eggs. 5 of the BBS have draw downs and are very active. 4 have movement but no draw down. Silkies are only day 15, but I had no choice. "Deathbator" is currently acting as a brooder for the 2 chicks that hatched on Tues.

I am way behind on posts. I will try to catch up once I get back to a computer. My phone doesn't make it easy!! Congrats to all the new hatches!!

@sally sunshine thanks, plan on using cut cans, think I got the height figured, do they need to be placed on a specific side relative to the temp control location. I was going to place them an even distance apart on the front of the box with the temp control in the top right corner. Then I could mount the fan on the interior right to blow across them, all sound OK?

Thanks! I'll check out Hoover, I have been wondering how they were.
The Denaguard STILL isn't here, so I don't think I'll set my eggs for the HAL. Neighbor might have some though, and I'm setting my 2 bantam eggs... Just in case!

as far as I know you are correct, others dispute the issue that others have imported first. I gave up with all that banter.

I was going to get CCL but couldn't handle the $250 for a pair when they were first imported and listed for sale. A lot of people bought them, including a guy about 150 miles from me. He gave me first dibs on eggs but he raised his price dramatically by the time they came along. I gave up.

The little things that frustrate me... I pride on the spelling of words, and I go to Hoovers Hatchery and they have Ameraucana spelled Americana. They should at least know how to spell their own chicken breed names.
