these you can get as key chains and girl hair things, cut single curls and use as bands.....

If you use the rubber bands things above, just be careful. I have had chicks that got them up over their elbow (?) with the other part still down by their ankle. This cause lots of problems!! The leg swelled incredibly fast and circulation was cut off. I switched over to the leg bands in the other picture.
I also tried the zip ties but I put them on too loose and found several had come off while I was at work!

Well have a dehumidifier that keeps our house at 40 to 50%.and I would have them in an egg turner.

You seem to want to incubate in a home made contraption even if advised against it. If you are set on it, then go ahead...but please don't ask how to fix humidity or temperature issues later on. If some hatch out for you, great! If not, be ready to accept that as well.

Thanks @Sally Sunshine the recommendation you gave me for the humidity to hatch seramas works perfect for my bator. Without any water it stays at about 40-44%! Perfect thanks.

I would find people on here where you have a better chance of scoping them out and having a way to communicate throughout the hatch.

True. I ordered some other eggs from a website but they won't ship until early spring. Those are coming from a breeder. Really excited for those too. They will be blue laced barnevelders and some more jubilee orpingtons. They are coming from Wisconsin.

Awesome awesome. I'm working on finding people who have Silkied Ameraucanas. I have a couple people who have actually gotten back to me so I'm hoping to fill my bator for the Easter HAL.
