I had a striped head shark fish. One day, it jumped out of the tank because it was hungry. I didn't find it for a week, and it had just died.
I went to Walmart to get another one, and found out that they had been outlawed. Turns out, these things are also known as "land walkers". Someone in Maryland let a few loose in a river. They bred, and took over the entire river. Once they had eaten all of the fish in that river, they were able to flop to the next body of water. Because of their ability to live without water for extended periods of time, draining the lakes and ponds wasn't a help. They had to actually poison all of the water killing any remaining fish,

Ya gotta get one of these...........me to actually. My coops are designed for ease of use, not ease of catching a chicken thats faster than I am.

Actually considered making one out of a coat hanger, but didn't want to spook him or risk injuring him somehow. Jess had already tamed him, & I wasn't going to throw all that away. He just didn't trust me enough yet.

Someone gave us a darker brown egg today, not sure if it was the Holland or the Wyandotte. Had a bit of blood though, so I feel bad for the poor girl.

I've only heard WICKED used in New England. Is it common in PA? Or have you lived further north?

Will have to see if the wife has any of the metal ones left. I think most of them are plastic now.
