Evening all. Been on and off all day trying to stay current on post. Was doing some thinking on the new bator that I will eventually build and wanted opinions on using a few of the cartridge type heating elements. Went to a few different threads but couldn't find anyone using them. Any thoughts or suggestions please.

I'm with you! We don't have that much property (only 3 1/4 acres), but between the terrain & trees, we might as well be in Lower Slobovia. Field on 3 sides, & 600+ feet off the road, 2.5 miles to the nearest town. Frequently, my truck doesn't move from one Tuesday to the next, and that's only in bowling season. Other than going fishing as much as possible, I wouldn't care if I never left here.Hunt right at the edge of the yard, mess with the chickens, and do pretty much whatever I want to do, with nobody to tell me I can't. It just don't get much better than that. For that view point I like you even more than I did.
And this is another perfectly good reason why I dislike neighbors. My wife asked me the other day if I would be willing to move into a bigger nicer house, that had a neighbor very close, versus live in our current slightly smaller, slightly older house with no neighbors and lots of property. I told her I'd take the small house on lots of property and no neighbor any day.
They sure are! Very special little girls barring the barking mad screaming WCB that I have![]()
My grandfather was a baker. He didn't enter the kitchen in his home. I still believe a man is supposed to be a man, and a woman is a woman. I would prefer to be in a dress most, if not all, of the time. I should not be the one lifting furniture and building things as long as my husband is around and able. I am to cook, clean and raise the children.
Of course that is what I believe. Not what I have lived. Much to my sadness,
I am putting off condoments as long as possible. Duckling is 19 mos. If she really doesn't like a food, I will teach her to use some flavoring. I told me mother off for having her dip her grilled cheese in ranch dressing in a restaurant. Thankfully, Duckling didn't want to do it here.
Your work.
Would you believe the neighbors/ 2 aunts and a grandmother taught her to have one? They thought it would be funny.
It's good to stand firm in your beliefs. Doesn't work for everyone... I just happen to be more mechanically inclined than DH. He cooks on his days off so I get a break.. With four kids we kind of just fill in where we can. No gender identifying jobs.
Looks like junk to me : (
