awesome!!! cant wait for pics, that looks amazing!! and sounds even better!!What a couple last days! How's everybody been? I'm not reading back so I hope everything is great! The pups from Germany hit KCI (Kansas City International) on Thursday night at 9:45pm. We went up early in the afternoon to shop a little bit, eat dinner and check into a hotel. Picked the pups up and went to the hotel. We didn't get into any big hurry making the 3 hour trip home yesterday either. Kinda nice for momma and I to just getaway for a bit. Anyway, busy getting caught up around here since it is so nice we decided to invite some friends over for the fire pit and drinks tonite. Well, fired up the smoker to throw a "fattie" on. It's a pound of hamburger, pound of spicy breakfast sausage mixed together and flattened out. Then onions, cooked bacon, jalepenos, pepper jack and spread onto the meat. Then roll it up and basket weave bacon around it. It'll smoke for a couple hours and then brush BBQ sauce and cook until it is done. Might do some deep fried deviled eggs too if I don't drink too many Bud Lights before everybody gets here.
I'll go get a few pics of the pups here in a bit. They are enjoying being outside right now.
