I ask because I float tested 12 and nine float low in the water. 3 float almost submerged with just a little sticking out. None float high and none have sunk to the bottom of the bowl. Is there still hope?????

How many eggs can go under a standard broody Cochin

I was able to fit 7 small eggs under my silkie....but I don't know about a bigger hen. there is actually a brooding hen thread - you might ask there..

Duckling did fine at the doctor. Better than I used to! Better than she normally does too!
We spent the whole evening outside again, and just came inside 10 minutes ago. She is one tired baby, but Fig Newtons and milk are more important than bed!

That's the link I used to do the test. I'm just wondering if the three that are floating super low but haven't completely sunk to the bottom of the bowl are still possibly viable.
