I think its a possibility. Did you candle them? That's the link I used to do the test. I'm just wondering if the three that are floating super low but haven't completely sunk to the bottom of the bowl are still possibly viable.

oh good grief you're at it again! Lol You need to come over and get a good look at my new chicks. You always choose good names! Even though, I don't name mine I let you pick them cuz I'm lame. I forgot the last name you told me to call one of them though and it was cool!![]()
Starting from top left...Barred rock, barred rock, buff brahma, rir, golden laced Wyandotte, Olive egger, rir/marans, seramas, runner ducks.
Before my time. You must be a lot older than you lookLaverne and Shirley were R&B and Soul singers respectively.
I'm not at all a fan of the float test. IMO, the only thing it's reliable for is to tell if the chick is alive, but only if the chick is kicking at the time. Even if the chick is very much alive, if it's not moving at the time, obviously there will be no waves. location of egg in the water is only an indicator of how much moisture the egg has lost.I ask because I float tested 12 and nine float low in the water. 3 float almost submerged with just a little sticking out. None float high and none have sunk to the bottom of the bowl. Is there still hope?????
