Is it just me, or are all of your chicks named after singers as well?

My bator spiked again I don't know what to do I think these eggs are done how may can fit under my broody Cochin I want to try and save them

Duckling did fine at the doctor. Better than I used to! Better than she normally does too!
We spent the whole evening outside again, and just came inside 10 minutes ago. She is one tired baby, but Fig Newtons and milk are more important than bed!

I'm sorry, did you tell us what it was spiking to? Were they only small spikes as the incubator heated up, then quickly cooled down?

No they were big like ten degrees above the temp

hi. I had posted earlier and several of you helped with advice. I am almost at day 23. Only one has zipped and is having a hard time hatching after 24 hrs. Two hatched well. No other pips. I just did a float test on 12 of the eggs. Is a sinker one that sinks fully to the bottom or floats immersed under the water?
