Opinions needed. want to introduce blue egg genes. I have Ameruacana hatching the 14/15. I also have an option to buy a pair of rupless Aruacana for fifty or just the cock. Which is going to be better for blue egg genes in crosses?

I think @dheltzel uses an Ameruacana to create his Pennsylvania Blacks which are a blue egg laying sex-link. Plus I don't really care for the look of the rumpless birds.

Go for it! But why the fifth, and why April? And if you think April because of the HAL, how can it be early April? And if I have to set eggs in April for the HAL, how can I have been born in April if you mentioned duck eggs, and they take up to 35 days?
