MC you need to set eggs for the April HAL with us.... you can sell the chicks on CL or something!!! or duckkkkkieeeessss and talk whites into joining and fire up his bator for April!!

well now I feel like CHIT!!! I honestly dont help them. I have had my time in trying to fix ill chicks and finally decided I cant do that for as much as I hatch and then I started to breed and well, they go bye bye

I can't hatch out anything 'til I get another run built; only have the one, where the rooster & 5 layers live. Before I put up a 2nd run, I have to finish the coop I'm building. Not likely I'll get all that done by April.

I just went out to burn some paper trash, and decided to roast a hotdog for lunch. Yes, the dog got one too.
I went out barefoot, keeping an eye out for poop. Well circling the fire trying not to get burned, I kept finding large chunks of glass. Each time I did, I was glad that Duckling wasn't around to get hurt. It never once occurred to me to put my darn shoes on to protect my own feet! I am a special kind of stupid.

So I floated the eggs again and still no movement. I eggtopsied them and they were all dead in shell.

I'm so sorry nuklee0. How many eggs did you start with? Were you able to tell in the eggtopsy what happened. If you can post photos sometimes folks can help you figure out what went wrong.

I did...
I got a coop before I got chickens.


















































Granted, I had the coop towed over and about 30 minutes later we caught the chickens and brought em over....... But, minor detail.
