I keep a homemade noose handy, and have been known to shoot them inside the house if the noose don't work.

Day 20 here. No pips, no sounds. Dark eggs, marans and OE's that are pretty dark. Do you guys find that the dark eggs take longer..I've not done too many of them, because I've had great luck with them. Keeping the humidity up a little higher than I normally do, temp down where I normally do for lock down. I do have a couple of lighter eggs in there, not worried with the bit of difference in things though.

We need to compare notes. I am getting some eggs from the same person you got yours from this weekend, and we have the same incubator, so I'd love to hear how everything goes/what you did.

Spiders don't bug me at all. Snakes are the only thing that gets me. As a kid, we used to have pet snakes and I used to hold them all the time. But ever since I was a teenager, I have had a very serious aversion to the little buggers.
