Every spring. Start them in April, they're ready by the 4th of July. Like to serve them with new potatoes, and a bit of milk and butter.
Hubby and I were out and about today. Stopped at the health food store. Just for grins and giggles, I checked the egg case. They had fertile duck eggs. Such a temptation to try hatching some... just because! They also had fertile chicken eggs. May have to slip some in with my spring hatch... just to try it!
