You just hit my button. Snakes, spiders, wasps, I'm ok with. Mice drive me insane. I had one that moved into my elevated hunting blind, and I let him take it over. Haven't hunted out of it in a year and a half. I now call it the mouse house. Hate them little boogers.
Thanks bubbles, I hope I dont look so misrable soon too! and at least you cant see the black hickie neck where they had the iv in. been a long time since I had a hickie!
So i have new pictures of the babies this morning. After sitting Eggbert in a cup for a while this morning, and attempting to put on a booty he couldn't kick off (still failed on that part, he is now moving around on his own a lot better than last night. Still not like the others, but way better! I have titled this picture "9 chicks on home plate"
Ok ok so they're not all on the plate. Close enough!
And then I woke up to something like this, but worse:
He was a lot more red, and a lot more swollen at 7 am this morning. This was taken.... 45 min ago maybe? This is after 2 benadryl, a zyrtec and a shot of steroids from the vet. No clue on what he found with his face that has him so swollen from an allergic reaction. Maybe a spider bite... Maybe a plant out in the woody area that he stuck his face in. But he wasn't like that last night at midnight when I went to bed, according to my husband who left at 5 am, wasn't like this either, but sure was when he woke me up at 6 with his panic bark.
Love the home plate! I had a black lab once who stuck her nose in a bumble bee nest. Within minutes, her face was completely swollen, and she was having a hard time breathing. We rushed her about 40 miles to an emergency vet clinic. Don't remember what they gave her, but she survived.
No,the rooster is the yellow he made the nest thin she can from the floor of the coop with him.he was making a weird noise like he was telling her your nest is ready.
My roo (avatar pic) does this all the time. He'll find a cozy little spot, climb in and wiggle around to make a "nest" and make the cutest little "come hither" noises for the girls. They'll stand around and discuss the matter, then wander off to go about their usual business.
