So I noticed that I put a Marans egg back in upside down when I set them 13 days ago. I had a hard time seeing into it to identify the air cell, so I put the end the breeder marked up. Today I had a hunch and checked the other end. I see veining. Hopefully I found it before too,much went wrong. Anybody else make this mistake?

I did, but the egg died.... Not because of wrong end up, though.

No I think it's a hen it's has thinner legs and uneven wing feathers and those are usually indications that it's a hen

I hope its a hen as well, I have had really good luck this year getting pullets.
