Sharpener of some sort?
idunno.gif
It used to be a sharpener of sorts... it was a homemade bench grinder. I took one of the grinding disks off and replaced it with the PVC cap with bungee cord "fingers" sticking out of it. Rubber bungee cords aren't going to sharpen anything. Try again...

my,papa does.idk if he has the problem too.it says there horrible with Silkies and drizzled and stuff
Avon Skin So Soft Bug Guard, or even plain old Skin So Soft. Rub it on their heads and wattles, but don't get it in their eyes, nostrils, or mouth.

Help! So my chicks hatched first hatch it is amazing but I'm worried they can touch the heating element with their heads an I'm scared they will burn themselves? What do I do they have only been hatched for a few hours like 3-4
If they're dry, or even if still slightly damp, take them out of the bator, put them quickly in a warm towel (lightly warmed in dryer), and put them in the brooder.

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP . There called bull nats
Have you googled Bull Gnats? Or maybe Wikipedia?
Good chance it'll show a repellent for them.

When I had horses, I mixed Avon Skin So Soft with an equal amount of water; used it as a fly spray. It smelled better that traditional fly spray, and didn't bother them if I accidentally got some in their eyes, although I didn't intentionally spray it in their eyes. Since a chicken's head is much smaller than a horse's, you could spray a liberal amount of the mixture on a clean cloth & wipe it on.

You should talk to someone before you try it to make sure it won't harm chickens. Maybe @casportpony or @ChickenCanoe

It's been a busy Saturday, and I got a couple of things accomplished. One was this project. Can anyone guess what it is and what it's used for?

It's a lateral divider for the brooder. If it ain't, I'll always think it should be.

Edit: Never mind; didn't notice the motor shaft. Is it a defeatherer for chickens?
