This ia my first time EVER hatching ducks so i am a bit parranoid
You think you're paranoid! Read Chicken Hawk 33's posts since Day 1, and this is not his 1st time.

@casportpony

Is there any reason not to reduce worm pellets to powder ?
As I was afraid they might, the birds have picked out the pellets; either dropping them in the dirt or leaving them piled in the mouth of the feeder.
could you make a mash of feed, pellets, and maybe scrambled with some eggs?

no,I didn't try to kill it.I helped because sometimes u have too with geese.this shell was hard as sement
WRONG!!!
If you had to help them, geese would have been extinct rather than have survived for millions of years without chicken hawk 33's help.

If you reduced it to powder how would you feed it to them?

Fermented feed or even just wetted feed is an easy way to mix things that are in powder form.

I could, but what would keep them from picking out the pellets again?

Also, since the vet suggested mixing 1/2 lb with a 3-day supply of feed, a concentration of that much wormer could be harmful / lethal to them.

No, not sticking. I'm thinking (well, hoping, actually) that it would be more difficult, if not impossible, for them to pick it out.
My thoughts would be that the powder would all settle to the bottom of the feeder and not get eaten. Could possibly do a powder and than make a mash for them.
