Exactly what I'm thinking
I've got small doors on either end; can get to eggs from either, though it's not meant for layers, anyway.

Both my big coops have a side that opens up.

there is one on the site's main page of coop pictures. I am thinking of using the long bark coated wood I got from the saw mill and got tired of cutting up for Firewood on mine. They sell the long scrap pieces cheap.

so do both of my tractors. I suggested it early in his build. Hinged and easy to open to scrape it all out.
