there is one on the site's main page of coop pictures. I am thinking of using the long bark coated wood I got from the saw mill and got tired of cutting up for Firewood on mine. They sell the long scrap pieces cheap.

That's not a bad idea. I would plan to have the finished edge inside though. Bugs like to hide out in the bark.

I was watching her and she started pushing so I quickly ran in and then I had to help so I didn't have time to put on shoes

I was going to take more pictures but the black one came out with its legs underneath her and her head was huge! I was afraid she would be stuck! The second one was in the same position but was so small that it just slid out. The first one was very stressful. Then the brown one wouldn't eat! The mama was great, but that one just wouldn't eat. Eventually I gave up and said you need the colostrum and put the teat in her mouth and she figured it out. It was pretty eventful

Guess who didn't go up to roost today, and is a little growly puddle sitting on her clutch??? e

I want to move Jace to a safer spot, but will that make her un-broody? Or should I just beef up security behind the feed box, where she is sitting? It actually isn't a bad spot, other than being on the floor...
