For the record there's about 60 chicks in our garage in brooders...my husband is going to disown me lol but...6 more isn't much! Right?? RIGHT???!!!

Hmm ok. Let's see, the minimum is 6. I don't think they have a max so I'm not gonna tell you to go back and get 6. I'd say maybe a dozen??:hide

Just say no. I really don't like the one I got from mcmurrays. It's egg is not that dark at all

I have two chicks in the bator that just hatched about 45 minutes ago and my brooder is up to temp and everything can they go into the indoor brooder yet
I'd leave them in there until they are dry. I usually leave mine in for several hours.

That's only a 10% increase. Depending on if he does a daily inventory it won't be noticeable at all. If he says it looks like there are more they are just "growing" so they take up more room.
