It was Cackle. I've ordered from them before with good results, all my guinea keets arrived alive and healthy. But, theres such a lack of communication! With other hatcheries, some have called me to let me know my chicks have shipped, others at least sent an email. After Cackle took my money, I've heard nothing from them (both times). And I can't get anyone on the phone to save my life :/ I've been pleased with the birds I've gotten from them, but I don't think a simple email saying the chicks are on their way is too much to ask

Really? I've called them two times and have gotten with a real person within 15 minutes and they called me and sent me an email saying shipping date would have to be moved a week later.(problem with the hatch.) cackle reviews do seem to be really divided. Either they're the best thing since sliced bread or horrible. So far so good for me *knock on wood* I hope everything works out okay for your shipment.

In my opinion you are diling with a some embrio development /genetic problem, you can rase it, but don't let it breed.

It was a nasty, dedly situation...

You are on antibiotics?

I caught mine right away.  So awful!  

I was sick that morning and in surgery by early afternoon.  Not something to mess around with.  In the military they lay you on your back and slap your right heel.  If it causes more pain, go to the hospital.

A very interesting diagnosis methods! I realy hope that they don't pull theirs tactical knife and operate you on the spot.....

Naw, it's just a preemptive signature of a possible issue. Though it is surprisingly accurate. Took my hubby 10 seconds to diagnose that I needed medical help and the doctor thousands of dollars in expensive testing to confirm. Lol

Definitely ruined my day and my belly button.

Hey, any advice on ducklings and geese? Mine develop and die right before hatch. I am getting really disheartened. I can see some trying to pip and they die before cracking the shell.

I have some Australian Spotted eggs and I really want to get this figured out. I hate losing babies this way. It breaks my heart. Plus my Sebastopol eggs are going to waste.

I have hatched three babies and lost about 20. This is not acceptable.

If all incubation parameters are correct: temperature, humidity, turning and ventilation - the next place I'd look is at the nutrition of the breeders.

It could be a very very dangerous situation, if not diagnosed in time!
