Hardly an expert, lol.No wonder you're a medicating expert. You've seen your share of problems.
I have been very fortunate I suppose.
It's a Dixie Chopper, 60" cut,What type of mower? Engine?
I did take a quick peek, and it's very good! There are a couple of things that I no longer do, so I will mark it up with some suggestions and explanations of why I've modified what I do. Nothing major...Did you get a chance to read my attachment? I'm not extremely proud of it but wanted to put something together quickly for people to take home.
Maybe this is a silly question. Does it have a kill switch under the seat? Also is the PTO turned off when trying to start it?It's a Dixie Chopper, 60" cut,
Originally had a 20hp Kohler, now has a 24hp Briggs twin cylinder.
Had a kill switch when I bought it new; disconnected it right away. I was mowing for the public; PITA to have to restart every time I had to get off to pick up whatever was in the way.Maybe this is a silly question. Does it have a kill switch under the seat? NoAlso did you check fuses?
Both my mowers PTO has to be off. One has a kill switch which is a pain when cutting hills but nice to have if it kicks you off on the hills.Had a kill switch when I bought it new; disconnected it right away. PTO's not engaged, but I often start it with the PTO engaged.
