That was a error, I had it normal, saved, and the entire page sprang apart by 5 spaces per line!!! I spent about an hour swmooshin the top back together an was too out of patience to do the bottom. Seriously, every single sentance had 5 spaces in between, all the links and stuff!!! That was NOT intetional at all, gave me a heap lotta work!

Does anyone have any advice on how to raise the humidity in a Genesis 1588? I have a bowl with a sponge in it and added another sponge. I pulled the plug and add water with a funnel and straw through that vent hole. I am having a heck of a time keeping it above 60% and have helped out 4 chicks now that had trouble after zipping. Everyone was all dried out.! So far out of 39 shipped eggs I pulled one clear, hatched 21 and have 1 more pip on day 22.

I am waaaaaay behind, maybe someone has already helped you. I use the foam bators too..remember..had a pretty decent hatch. Sometimes it seems that the humidity is low, but isn't if...you don't have a good reading going on. Make sure there is no condensation on the window. I know, you know that! Anyway, another thing that can happen if the bator is older, and I have one like this..the ends get dented in..so they let air leak in. Not sure if that makes sense. While you are washing the bator after each use, it will dent in on the edges. So, what I have found that works great to keep it sealed is...tin foil! I line the edges with tin foil for lock down. Works like a charm. Sometimes, on my older one, I will even have to put some on just one side during incubation. See that area where the plug of a turner can go? I put the tin foil there first to see if that helps. Then if not, I put more on. It really does work!
