good to hear you've recovered from what was ailing you
Dax sorry about the piglets, wonderful news on the cute little dueling though
Chaos, just to let you know you were wrong on Monday. While it did take me until after everyone went to bed to catch up on five days of posts, it was Tuesday after everyone went to bed
Phil glad you got the new waders and were able to get out and fish, too bad no steelhead though
Banti thanks for the update but I was catching up when you posted it

Never incubated before. How did I do on equipment. $50 got me 2 little giant still air with rotating trays. One needs a little tlc, but I am sure I can get it to work fine. 1 rusted out water and 1 useable water 1 Water heat pan And the coolest candler ever!
Welcome and enjoy! @JessimomGood luck with your eggs you set.
I have this one, that looks a little pregnant. Due May 3rd. @daxigait
Oh yeah definitely twins, maybe triplets. :fl

So cute!!!  What will you do with all the babies, are you keeping or selling?
I am selling the babies this year so I can buy more fencing. I hope to have my whole property goat fenced by next year. Then they can eat all my brush and briars :)
Here is the video of the duckling chasing after the drake.
Very cute. Mean little bugger or at least overzealous.

You too!
Time to go again.

I quit cold turkey about a year and a half ago. I'm doing green or white tea now.
Also, beer isn't just for breakfast any more.

Cold turkey? Never heard of it, does that mean you have it hot now?
Sorry everything always goes way over my head.

I don't know if I'll have the time but I'm hoping to go to our Urban Farm and Sustainable Development Group's monthly 'Pints and Plants' event. We gather at a local brewery for talks about gardening subjects.
This month's subject is 'Beer in the Garden: Gardening and the Biology of Beer'. It is a talk given by a Ph.D. in plant biology at Washington University.
Homebrewing and home gardens can complement each other. This talk will cover how brewers harness the plant world to turn grains and other plants into beer, and provide tips on growing a “beer garden” whose harvest can go directly into the pint glass.
Sounds like fun.
Sounds like a good time!

Just a little pregnant, maybe. I always feel bad for pregnant goats

i want to borrow some goats (hopefully from my sister in law, if i can ever find her a couple) so that they can eat the briers

Going to re-assemble the coop I just built & improvise a temporary "run" for little guys so I can start cooking some eggs; can't get daughters to breed to the BCM unless I do. I can fashion a more permanent run while eggs are incubating and the resulting chicks are growing.
I hope you decide to get those eggs cooking!

@MotorcycleChick
What kind of duck do you think the momma is, she is the white/brown one, the two black are 1/2 cayuga approx 2 months old

Does this less than day old chick look in distress to you or is this normal? I am used to seeing them bumbling around the incubator squawking...
