I have a question how early can a duck egg hatch

I have a question, how early can a duck egg hatch?
If temperature is correct, the egg should hatch within a few hours of when it is supposed to hatch depending on species.

How long do I feed my chicks chick feed
Read the bag!

Every manufacturer has a different recipe based on the best science and what ages and types of birds they intend for that bag to feed.
The bag says how long it should be fed to different ages of chickens or other birds.

We don't know what kind of feed you bought nor what the ingredients are. The manufacturer knows and that's why they put feeding instructions on the bag.

Hatching from your own chickens gets you into a more self-sustaining position. You may still sometimes want other eggs, but you aren't dependent on the post office any more (which is so great!), and hatching your own involves much less cost of shipped or purchased eggs.

What are you setting, and what do you expect? (What are the pairings?)

Thing one
... and Thing One is ADORABLE!!!!!

Quote: I have a weird property with two houses on 1.6 acres (houses are only 15 feet apart). I live in the smaller but less "crazy" one (the older one had not-to-code weird renovations done by hand by a previous owner) - house inspector actually laughed hysterically as he was going through the old house... I have a friend living there with her boyfriend for essentially cost (it helps me to have the place occupied, and I can avoid it being called "renting" tax-wise). She grew up on a farm, loves my chickens, not remotely bothered by 4 (well now 3) loud roosters. And built in chicken sitters!!!!

One of these days I'll do a major renovation, but for now, it's working out nicely...

I got SOME of my "to do" list done, but not as much as I wanted to. However, I DID finally get the hammock chair hung in the back yard (which is likely the main reason why I didn't get much done). LOVE LOVE LOVE this.....

(Please ignore my freaky mutant toes in the photo, it's a family thing...)

U get great pictures! of the growth, air cells, veining. I have a hard time seeing my chicken eggs, granted ducks take longer but every time u post your duck eggs I can't wait to see the difference the next time
Dark room, bright light. I might be able to get in one more picture session before lockdown, depending on what they look like. Glad you enjoy them.

Is there a good rooster management thread? My rooster is driving me crazy.
In what way? I seem to have been part of rooster management discussions on about four different threads this spring (spring hormones and all). Just had to process one of them last week (he's actually in the oven right now) - but that isn't always necessary. If you tell us what the issues are, we can probably give suggestions, we discussed it here a couple weeks ago...
