Maybe you could find someone close to help you across the bridge? Mean roosters are no fun to deal with, and you'll probably enjoy life a little more without having to look over your shoulder constantly for a flogging rooster.

Yeah. I might be able to recruit my neighbors.... I don't have the equipment either, and don't plan on spending lots of $$$ for a one time job.

Or maybe I could just let his crest grow out, then he can't even see me. :p
