@attimus and everyone else, the FDA recommends that severe outbreaks of coccidiosis be treated with water medicated at 908 mg, so to that means one would have to use about 12 teaspoons of Cocci Rid to get 908 mg.

As usual, please check my my math!

it occurred to me mid discussion that cocci rid labled for pet and exotic as well pigeon meant small caged birds. Not poultry. Should have thought about it for a minute before I just jumped the gun.

I don't think you jumped the gun at all... The product would work, but you would have to use a lot of it. For me it's all about the active ingredient and the amount of mg per gram, mg per ml, or mg per whatever. Then I find the dose recommended for that species and do a little math. Not positive, but I think that amprolium can be used to treat coccidiosis in elephants, and I bet they would use Corid, Amprol, AmpoMed, etc., just lots of it, lol.

Two of my Walkers were broke to drive before they were broke to ride, but I never had a cart or anything; they were both saddelin' fools, though. One was killed by lightening, the other died of old age after I sold her.

I am good, still pretty layed back but gettin around more now.  Not popping pain meds today as I have a little one.  He was a bit upset because I wont hold him, but he not only is too heavy he has a runny nose and cough, not something I need right now lol.

And why only WHEN YOU WERE LITTLE????     WE need to schedule a fishing trip together I think that is what your saying!!!!  OMG when you were little!!!!  Its my favorite thing to do   EVER!!!

LOL!! :lau
Well @mlm Mike, you got cookies so don't feel so jealous! :gig

It was very good.... You know me well!! :hugs :drool

Traced air cells now 'stead of just a quick peek.... Some are worse then I thought, and some I can't see at all! I think I need to replace candler batteries...
Most of the CCL are fine, and a few have teeny saddles.
Only two eggs are terrible; they go 1/2 way down the egg in all directions!
Air cells are not that big, it is just how far they can move.... Sapphires all have mild saddles. The OE (I think?) are mostly okay, I think as long as they settle for a while it'l not be too terrible. Are the CBR the super dark ones? They look like chocolate! :drool

25 eggs have arrived with no cracks! Some have slight saddles, one has a pretty bad saddle, (almost detached) but overall they look pretty great!

I'm home recovering from a migraine this AM - I'm fortunate that the pain often doesn't last too long, but I am usually too dizzy to drive or look at a screen or read for too long for many hours afterwards. So I've spent the day sitting and watching my chickens (I sit still on a short stool in the coop and just watch). I am at the Cream Legbar cockerel cull #1 stage from the first hatch in February, so I'm watching watching watching (while also serving as a big extended perch for all the CL girls and one single boy that I am convinced is Paula's lone cockerel - how did she pass on all that super friendliness?!) - one or two possible keepers out of six. In the baby coop I also finally had my first knee-percher among the EHAL chicks and accompanying shipped chicks - a wee little black copper maran pullet.

I mostly spent my time staring at the lone Lavender Ameraucana chick and thinking "Be a girl, Be a girl, Be a girl...". (I think it's a boy.)
