so, just to be clear, for the first two weeks you use grow gel and then the after that you put Apple cider vinegar in the water?

no I musta screwed that up! I use grow gel until the brooder and then until they eat it up until gone, I just make a teaspoon or two (when its got water in it), I put the provits in the water right away for the first two weeks

These are ISA Brown (Babcock), mixed with a dark rooster that was used for showing, he has a green tinge to his kneck feathers (not sure the breed). I have two lighter ones out of this group, not sure if that is because they are roosters or vice versa. They are happy and healthy!

Well, the friend that went to the north end of the state to get some chicks from her, and eggs, says, she gave your these, plus about 20 more! What? What am I supposed to do with all of these? Ey?

I told my other friend that made that trip, that she can have the rest of the others to hatch. She is going to bring them all by today and let me choose. I hope I don't go over 12! I can't, I just can't. Nope. Can't. I see some sex link mixes in there..great egg layers coming up. :/

Many people call Easter Eggers, Americanas. The real name for it is Easter Egger.

@Sally Sunshine With most of my chicks being at least 1/4 to 1/2 cream legbar a headspot only means they will be barred right? It's not a sexing trait right?
