Now that you've seen it, it's a good time to walk away. The chicks have to be in the right position to hatch. They wiggle around in their egg to put their head in just the right spot. Is today a school day for you? Enjoy daydreaming at school about coming back to your room and hearing peeping.

Do a thread search, and then make your own hybrid based on all of the ideas and materials you can scrounge up. Mini dorm refrigerators. Free styro boxes from pharmacies and pet shops, sea food places (maybe). Old cooler, new cooler, even cardboard boxes insulated with newspaper, glass from old photo frames, computer fan with 12 V phone charger, 2 light bulbs with sockets and wiring, STC1000 thermostat. This made me laugh because I thought the same thing. I just added rainbow Duck tape to put some of my bator together. I was thinking through what might be missing and duct tape was the answer.

Edited to add, I'm working on the tutorial/write up with photos. I won't have hatch rates for a while so once I work out the kinks I'll post the build page and update after hatching.

Tons and tons on hatching and all kinds of stuff on chickens.we are getting a baby potbelly pig later today so that will hold me over till tommorow I hope they start hatching tommorow ...Why do u put them dip in the air cell up,if they role and stuff during hatching.?
