It's only day 5, but I just had to know if any progress is being made. I only took one egg out to candle, and it looks like I've got at least one viable embryo... yay! Will candle all of them on Monday evening (day 7) and mark air cells on the good ones.

I'm going to do the same when I get home tomorrow. Its killing me!

Waiting for the Hawk chicks and chicken hawk chicks is seriously making it hard to wait for hatching more.

With all these hawks flying around it's a wonder there are any chicks

YOU can sell them on CL. My luck hasn't been great. And I think people are leary of buying chicks with the W word on its way.
Still, if my Brabanters lay in the next week I will set their eggs, I promise. Past that their fertility will drop off without an active roo.

Well....Does this tiny girl Look broody? Nooooo. She just wanted to try it for three days! Decided it was boring and turned the eggs over to me. So, plugged the bator back in. It's a nice digital R-Com, but I think the temp is off, so trying to work that out. Don't know if the eggs were sat on tightly enough to start or not.
