I'm not a fan of cats. (Guess I've never had one cooked right. LOL). Therefore, I don't keep any around.

You don't need one with that dog being best of both species!

Jacks are hilarious. We had one for years. Caught him standing in the DR one day, in a beam of sunlight, just going nuts. The sun was reflecting off his collar tag, onto the drapes in front of him, & he was trying to catch the reflection

We love ours. Personality out the wazoo. They go everywhere with us. My wife has began looking for another with good working lines. We had to put Spud down in March and Gator is 11.

We breed working and show line GSD's and Gator is the HMFIC. 16# of dominance and to see a 100# Shepherd submit and respect that is a sight.

seriously PO'd freakin heart attack! but better late than never!

I just got an alert text on my phone from the local news "Firefighters wage battle against forest fire on ----- Mountain" I panic and go into the feeds in search of whats going on and it was 4 hours ago, and thank God under control in 3acres. Another something to be Thankful for, no one was hurt! And no need to panic and worry.

Had a Jack R. once too. That dog was full of it! Couldn't keep up with him. Soo, active, they are used around ..borrowed, for BYU's gardening class that is outdoors, when they are having problems with wild critters. Those dogs will go after a rat like a Rat T. and they are used for getting the little furry things too that like to get into the greens. The Jack R. is one tough dog.

A little at a time helped this little one out.

I really wet the white membrane down so I can peel it back very carefully so I can see
where the blood vessels are, and how they are doing/absorbing. I get the nose out and
nostrils clear. Then, it just hangs out for a while.

About 7 years ago, we were out running electric fence on milo stalks and Gator was working some badger holes out while I was mending. He never surfaced so I started going hole to hole and found the one he was in. Tangled up with a badger and they were deep enough I couldn't see them. It was cold cold, snow blowing January weather. I checked back in on him around until dark, still in the hole. So I headed home to break the news to the Mrs. She was madder than a wet hen that I left him in the hole. The next morning, I ran all my morning chores and back to him after lunch, still in there raising hell. I went and grabbed my brother and best friend, grabbed pic axes, shovels and the pistol. We finally got down to where I could see Gator's back end. I drug him out of that hole with the *** end of a badger still in his mouth. My brother shot the badger just as he cleared the dig. Bout got divorced for that one.
