My husband was on the verge of giving up hope on that single araucana egg even after seeing internal pip because there was no external sign/no loud cheeping. Only to have a huge crack in it this morning! yay!

Hey...no judgement...but I've got 42 new rir eggs ready for the bator...best sanitizing method for my Styrofoam bator??

She's still kicking with her giant scab bottom I have her separated out in a clear Tupperware so the others don't pick on her, but she can see and hear them.

That's great!!! I had a CLB cockerel do the same thing and I used cornstarch and just kept pressure on it for a couple hours. He was very lethargic for a few days after hatch but now he is kicking and is now 3 weeks old. He is really calm though and sweet....so he has good feathering so I can keep him as my breeder. Oh and I had one hatch of my cross chicks hatch with a subcutaneous edema on its side and it went away and he is doing great also. I can tell he is a he because he has wattles and a pink comb at 3 weeks old. So out of that entire hatch I got 4 boys and 2 girls. Not very happy.
