Can I just give this to my chick instead of regular water for now??? WiIll she drink it if it's not being hand administered?

you will have a hard time getting the honey or molasses to be liquid enough for the chick to drink without using very warm water. so brown sugar would be the easiest . Sally would not have put it out there if you could not use it .so I would .

He could be EE... only way to be sure is breed him to a white egg layer and see what the pullets from that lay...

EE is easter egger, what is BR? He seems to have the genes for barring, if so putting him over unbarred hens will make sexable chicks right?

No... sex-linked barring has to come from the hen... the roo will pass his barring to both sexes, but the hen will only pass her barring to her sons... non-barred roo over a barred hen = sex-links...

Do double yolks usually not fertilize?

Not enough space in a single egg for 2 chicks to survive healthy to hatch... once in a great while 1 will hatch, but most times at the cost of the other... best to just not set them... and usually the survivor, if there is one, has issues...

Hi Ravyn I would have stayed ben has been having a bad day wit a few melt downs. got him settled in bed not long ago . and I'm just waiting to make sure he's all good before turning in .
