INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

This morning I have 5-blue 2-black and 1-splash Ameraucanas and 3 black copper Marans! Only 2 Ameraucana eggs left, no pips so I put all the babies in the brooder. Pretty pleased with the hatch as they are all shipped eggs.

MC!!!   of course not silly!!  I really want to start the sourdough he gave me in pm!  want me to send you some starter once I get it started and going?  IF I can get it going   how is ducklin she get you up sweets?

My starter is about a year old. I keep it in the refrigerator since I rarely use it. I actually took it out a few days ago to use in a chicken batter (think Long John Silvers). Then it went back in the fridge.
Duckling is up and active. She helped put dishes away today! She is 17 months as of yesterday.

Yes, we do everything together. I guess that's the benefit of working for ourselves and together. We also fish the blue cat tournament circuits together. So we catch a lot of big ol Blues together. I'll post some pics up later.

Well, it is funny now, but being in the coop with a downed duck and a weasel 3 feet away HISSING at the flashlight wasnt fun.... He ran out, I locked the coop door, 2 seconds later he popped out of his hole, but I had a hoe and swiped it at him. I think I missed because he ran back under the coop, but he never came back.... And that was last fall!
If there was a movie you would be laughing... Me swiping at a hungry weasel in my PJ's.... I slept with my window open that night!!
