I use gate hinges so I have no clue how to help with twine!!! LOL. Now, I've used doubled up baler wire to temporary a gate hinge.

Redneck rigging involves duct tape and baling twine, but other than that...

I'd take it off your hands, but it'd be a hassle lugging it back & forth to the deer blind; probably too high to see over or use as a gun rest, too
