I have some friends who are really good about making their own things. And are really creative. So, this year we decided to each teach eachother something so we can give it away as a gift. because xmas gifts do add up quickly
I did a lot with nylon webbing as well; dog collars, leads, roading harnesses, etc., all geared toward the needs of horseback field trialers. I pulled a 16' gooseneck stock trailer; back half was for the horses, front was for dogs and my "store". I'd pull up at a field trial and I'd have guys coming up to me wanting to buy something b4 I could get the engine switched off.

I'm fabulous! are you hatching anything soon?
I am hatching my VERY first eggs. I have 14 laying chickens that don't have access to a rooster. I have 4 silkies that have a silkie roo. So, I'm hatching silkie eggs. The first ones should hatch on the 26th, then I put in 7 more for the 1/1 HAL. Then I added 5 more a few days later. All silkies.

I do have 2 silkies that were hatched from shipped eggs - but someone else hatched them for me. They hatched the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I got them back a few weeks ago and they looked lonely, so I bought 10 more chicks to keep them company. 5 EEs, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 1 Dominique, 1 Black Austerlaup and 1 New Hampshire Red. They all range from 10 to 14 days old.

How about you?

Im butting in to say howdy again.

I grow lots of hot peppers.  I fermented a bunch, but now am trying to figure out what to do with it?  Do I make hot sauce, or just give away the pepper mash?  I used to bake goodies, this year I"m going a bit hotter..

As for "making" things - I'm one of the most NON creative people you will ever meet.

I grow these Carolina Reaper in Michigan...world record hottest pepper...I got drunk one night and ate one....Ouch!!!!!
