gotcha, I was trying to keep updated by taggin you but I couldnt spell lolLol i just seen this post , yes C A E T I , my mom didnt want to spell my name like normal people , most people dont even know how to pronounce my name cause its spelled so weirdly lol
Ok egg update four eggs doing great healthy and strong. My first is due on Christmas day and then another one on the 27th and the other two a week after that I'm going to lock them down on the the 23rd but late on that date. I am slowly bringing the humidity up starting tonight by five percent each night to keep all the air cells on track since I have staggered hatch also the one with the crack I'm a little worried about it has completely filled the shell except around the crack I hope it will be fine but I'm so excited. I should have the new pen done this week the chick's I have in there now are three months old lol thank god there tiny silkie mixed chicks so the brooder will be ready for my new chicks
agreeCH, you're going to have even less money if you keep trying to incubate eggs with a faulty thermometer, and you need a hygrometer to track the humidity. Without those two items, you're fighting an uphill battle that's all but impossible to win.
I doubt if there's anything wrong with the incubator you have, except that screwed up thermometer. Plenty of folks have had successful hatches with the same incubator you've got. Is it the best?..NO. Can you afford to replace it with a better one? Evidentally NOT. So you make the best of what you've got to work with right now. Unfortunately, you don't really have anything to work with until you replace that faulty thermometer/hygrometer. That's just the way it is.
karma, love itSome things are just not worth the effort. HE knew he was lying and Karma eventually won!
