whew just got the browser sorted,

got permission (yes I do ask) from my lady to go for the temp controller after the 1st of the year, seems she don't want me going truck/boat shopping,

anyway I used the 5 gal waterer idea it works great so far,

next may be a larger run and seperating the garden area for the birds to run in which means raising the fence and other things,

Not having to go to work means I need to stay busy,

keeping busy means more and more chickens!!! Glad things are working out, and that temp controller? what have you decided on?

What lines did you incorporate to get the horns? Do they breed true?

I wish! lol

Soooooooo... what about those chickies??? I just put 3 horizontal water nipples in a plastic jug to water the chicks in the brooder. My chicks will be 3 weeks old tomorrow, and they had no trouble figuring out how to use the new waterer.

CH, make sure you have the brooder box ready to go for your mom when the chicks hatch, and also make sure she knows where to find us should she run into any issues as well. OK? AND I forget if I saw in your image under your eggs, you have laid papertowels down or something on the grate?
