I had to go to Spokane for and emergency, and thought I lost all my eggs, since my house got cold. this guy hatched though.

since he is and will be by himself, I put in a dancing snowman and a troll doll for company.

You could always modify a favorite rabbit hunting trick, where you lay down in the grass and make a noise like a carrot.

Never tried that one, either!

Day 4. I know it is still early but this is my first and i feel like im going to mess it up.

what is your room humidity CL?

you dont want high humidity in the bator, but you will need to know how to increase it for lockdown.

these are standard size eggs?


what are you running temps at? sill air or fan

Also when I was out of town I picked up eggs from a lady 4 hrs away. fresh blood for this valley!

louly had a 100% hatch rate in NW Washington a few weeks ago, and its even wetter there now I think? she said she ran about 33% but you have to still watch those air cells to confirm what humidity number at day 7 and so forth

Don't stress. Just watch your temperature and humidity. Don't forget to turn your eggs!!!! You can learn a lot from your first hatch. So even if you do mess up you are learning!!!!! Keep us posted on your candling.

I raised and lowered based on air cell size at time of candling. Mark your air cells and we can help!!!
